Hertfordshire sits on the M1, the A1(M) and the M25's northern arc, and its business parks are some of the largest in the south-east: Maylands at Hemel Hempstead, Croxley Park and Watford Business Park, Hatfield Business Park, Gunnels Wood Road at Stevenage and the Lea Valley distribution corridor through Waltham Cross and Hoddesdon. Film and television production at Leavesden and Elstree, pharmaceutical and aerospace firms, print and packaging, food and drink manufacturers, national distributors and the glasshouse growers of the Lea Valley all run forklift fleets. Reach, counterbalance, VNA and pallet-truck training run here most weeks, with stacker courses for the studios and telehandlers on the county's many construction sites.
Local customers typically work in distribution and 3PL, film and television production, pharmaceuticals and aerospace, print and packaging, food and drink, horticulture. Whatever the sector, the format is the same: an accredited Forklift Agency instructor comes to your premises anywhere in Hertfordshire, trains your operators on your own trucks, tests them, and we post HSE-recognised certificates. Courses run around your shift pattern, early mornings, nights or weekends, at the same price.

Common questions
Where does the training happen?
At your premises, on your trucks, in the environment your operators actually work in. We do not run a training centre in London or anywhere else. The instructor brings everything else: the safety videos on a laptop or tablet, theory material, cones, test papers and the certificates.
Is there a travel charge for London or the Home Counties?
No. Training anywhere inside the M25 and across the surrounding counties, from Reading to Southend and from Stevenage to Crawley, is quoted at the same rate, with no charge for travel or accommodation. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire are covered by our Derby, Nottingham and Leicester sites, and the rest of the UK by Forklift Agency.
Do you charge more for nights or weekends?
No. Our instructors fit into your shift pattern, including early mornings, nights and weekends, at no extra cost, subject to availability. In London that often means starting before the roads fill up or training after the last delivery.
Does the instructor need parking?
One space for a car or small van, close enough to unload cones and equipment. If parking is impossible at your site, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
