Forklift training in Kent

On-site forklift training in Dartford, Crayford, Swanley, Gravesend, Northfleet, Ebbsfleet, Sevenoaks, Westerham, Maidstone and Aylesford. On-site, on your own trucks, with no travel charge.

The Kent side of the Dartford Crossing is one of the busiest logistics locations in the country: Crossways, Littlebrook, the distribution parks either side of the A2 and M25, the Ebbsfleet developments and the Thames-side aggregates, cement, paper and steel businesses at Northfleet and Gravesend. Further out, Aylesford and Larkfield form a major paper, packaging and distribution cluster beside the M20, and the fruit farms, vineyards, nurseries and estates of the Darent valley and the Weald run telehandlers, rough-terrain forklifts and counterbalance trucks that need certificated operators just as much as a warehouse does. Reach, counterbalance, VNA, side loader and telehandler training all run here regularly.

Local customers typically work in distribution and 3PL, aggregates and cement, paper and packaging, steel and timber import, construction, agriculture and fruit growing. Whatever the sector, the format is the same: an accredited Forklift Agency instructor comes to your premises anywhere in North and West Kent, trains your operators on your own trucks, tests them, and we post HSE-recognised certificates. Courses run around your shift pattern, early mornings, nights or weekends, at the same price.

Common questions

Where does the training happen?

At your premises, on your trucks, in the environment your operators actually work in. We do not run a training centre in London or anywhere else. The instructor brings everything else: the safety videos on a laptop or tablet, theory material, cones, test papers and the certificates.

Is there a travel charge for London or the Home Counties?

No. Training anywhere inside the M25 and across the surrounding counties, from Reading to Southend and from Stevenage to Crawley, is quoted at the same rate, with no charge for travel or accommodation. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire are covered by our Derby, Nottingham and Leicester sites, and the rest of the UK by Forklift Agency.

Do you charge more for nights or weekends?

No. Our instructors fit into your shift pattern, including early mornings, nights and weekends, at no extra cost, subject to availability. In London that often means starting before the roads fill up or training after the last delivery.

Does the instructor need parking?

One space for a car or small van, close enough to unload cones and equipment. If parking is impossible at your site, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
