Forklift training in Surrey
On-site forklift training in Esher, Cobham, Walton, Epsom, Leatherhead, Dorking, Redhill, Reigate, Guildford, Woking, Staines, Egham, Weybridge and Chertsey. On-site, on your own trucks, with no travel charge.
Surrey wraps around the south-western quarter of the M25, and its forklift work is a mix of the suburban and the rural. Staines, Ashford and Egham sit on Heathrow's western edge with air-freight and distribution businesses; Brooklands, Byfleet and Chertsey have technology, motor-industry and plant-hire firms; Guildford's Slyfield estate is one of the largest in the county; Leatherhead and Epsom have pharmaceutical and research businesses with their own stores; and Redhill and Horley feel the pull of Gatwick. Between them lie the builders' merchants, garden centres, nurseries, farms, vineyards and equestrian businesses of the Surrey Hills that run counterbalance trucks, telehandlers and rough-terrain forklifts. One or two operators at a time is the norm, and on-site training suits that exactly.
Local customers typically work in distribution and air freight, pharmaceutical and research, technology and automotive, builders' merchants, horticulture and garden centres, agriculture and vineyards. Whatever the sector, the format is the same: an accredited Forklift Agency instructor comes to your premises anywhere in Surrey, trains your operators on your own trucks, tests them, and we post HSE-recognised certificates. Courses run around your shift pattern, early mornings, nights or weekends, at the same price.

Common questions
Where does the training happen?
At your premises, on your trucks, in the environment your operators actually work in. We do not run a training centre in London or anywhere else. The instructor brings everything else: the safety videos on a laptop or tablet, theory material, cones, test papers and the certificates.
Is there a travel charge for London or the Home Counties?
No. Training anywhere inside the M25 and across the surrounding counties, from Reading to Southend and from Stevenage to Crawley, is quoted at the same rate, with no charge for travel or accommodation. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire are covered by our Derby, Nottingham and Leicester sites, and the rest of the UK by Forklift Agency.
Do you charge more for nights or weekends?
No. Our instructors fit into your shift pattern, including early mornings, nights and weekends, at no extra cost, subject to availability. In London that often means starting before the roads fill up or training after the last delivery.
Does the instructor need parking?
One space for a car or small van, close enough to unload cones and equipment. If parking is impossible at your site, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
