Forklift training in South London
On-site forklift training in Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Sutton, Merton, Wimbledon, Mitcham, Kingston and Richmond. On-site, on your own trucks, with no travel charge.
South London's forklift work clusters along the Purley Way in Croydon, the Cray Valley from St Mary Cray to Orpington, the Wandle valley through Mitcham, Hackbridge and Sutton, and the A3 corridor at Chessington, Tolworth and New Malden. Builders' merchants, kitchen and bathroom suppliers, food manufacturers, print and packaging firms, pharmaceutical and laboratory suppliers, waste and recycling operators, retail parks and the film and television studios at Twickenham all need certificated operators, and the events industry that builds Wimbledon, Twickenham and the summer festivals every year adds rough-terrain and stacker work. Counterbalance and reach courses are most requested, with pallet trucks and stackers in the many smaller units.
Local customers typically work in builders' merchants and trade supply, food manufacturing, print and packaging, pharmaceutical and laboratory supply, retail distribution, events and studios. Whatever the sector, the format is the same: an accredited Forklift Agency instructor comes to your premises anywhere in South London, trains your operators on your own trucks, tests them, and we post HSE-recognised certificates. Courses run around your shift pattern, early mornings, nights or weekends, at the same price.

Common questions
Where does the training happen?
At your premises, on your trucks, in the environment your operators actually work in. We do not run a training centre in London or anywhere else. The instructor brings everything else: the safety videos on a laptop or tablet, theory material, cones, test papers and the certificates.
Is there a travel charge for London or the Home Counties?
No. Training anywhere inside the M25 and across the surrounding counties, from Reading to Southend and from Stevenage to Crawley, is quoted at the same rate, with no charge for travel or accommodation. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire are covered by our Derby, Nottingham and Leicester sites, and the rest of the UK by Forklift Agency.
Do you charge more for nights or weekends?
No. Our instructors fit into your shift pattern, including early mornings, nights and weekends, at no extra cost, subject to availability. In London that often means starting before the roads fill up or training after the last delivery.
Does the instructor need parking?
One space for a car or small van, close enough to unload cones and equipment. If parking is impossible at your site, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
